This is a type of Assassin bug (Acanthaspis petax) is found in Malaysia. The unique thing about this species, is that it uses the hollowed out exoskeletons of it’s prey, attaching the bodies to its back by secreting a sticky fluid. This is used as a form of protection as the exoskeletons can be quickly shed when attacked and allow the assassin bug to escape.
